When I read this article it suggests that illegal aliens are finding safe haven in immigrant sanctuary cities. It becomes troublesome when I find myself asking are some ethnic groups with political power in 'sanctuary city' governments demonstrating greater allegiance to illegal aliens than American citizens. These quasi-sanctuary political leaders must be vetted, so there voters know who are the ones making them pay for the illegal alien refuges, especially in the mist of the severe economic downturn. Texas stands to kindle an exodus of 1.5 million illegal aliens just think about the impact on the Texas cost savings for they have more illegal aliens than people in over ten states.
