An eighteen year old male gunned down in a robbery attempt by bandits make you want to scream, especially when you realize that murder in America's cities is evolving to the level of genocide for young males. I become really stressed picturing a mother crying over her lost child and realizing that in a couple days, weeks, or months another mother may be lamenting the lost of her son for a similar reason. What is clear is that the perpetrators obviously feel there are no consequences for murder. Therefore, I ask what should be the realistic consequences for murder that will make tomorrow's perpetrator think before pulling that trigger or using that knife to kill or maim another person.
