A 40 Year Dream of Love Morphs into a Life Fraught with Scorn

Male players are high ego want-to-be gigolos who exploit women’s emotions, as if they are trophies of their sexual prowess, to be discarded without showing long term emotional commitment in the relationship.  However, sometimes the player gets played by the de facto scorn woman syndrome that has a long term devastating impact on his manhood.

Some men become enchanted in their sexual prowess to where they may forget that women can be very patient in seeking an opportunity to make their house of cards collapse. A sixty year old lady shared the story of a late female friend (old maid) in love with a man for forty years before she finally got him to the altar to get married.

This lady said the old maid patiently waited whilst her dream lover picked other women over her. She said she asked the fellow why he kept ignoring the woman who was madly in love with him. This chap apparently did not respond to her query.

After 40 years the fellow decided to marry the old maid. At the wedding ceremony the old maid collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where they spent their honeymoon.   During this hospital visit they learned that the bride had a terminal illness and the Grim-reaper was laying claim to her life very quickly.

The friend, with I got you look on her face, said the new bride realizing death was imminent tied up all of her valuables in some kind of trust where the husband would lose everything if he married again.  It was like the husband had a fortune that was toxic to his touch.

This story was like something you might expect to see in a movie where the gigolo gets outwitted by the plain Jane just when his sexual prowess is becoming a victim of the diseases of aging. The dead lady knew the want-to-be gigolo’s weakness for wealth, so she left him to suffer a hell comparable to her own fate of not having your dream come true until life had passed her by.
