The Republican Party political strategists have been doing everything borderline legal to suppress voter turnout in the 2012 General Election for African Americans and Hispanics.
The looming Voter Identification laws are an excellent method to erode the security that nonwhites previously felt in voting following the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. African American senior citizens with vivid memories of the racist anti-black antics against blacks perpetrated by the Ku Klux Klan that denied them the right to vote see the Republican Party hoping to return elections to yesterday’s lily white activities. Voter fraud is today’s euphemism for disqualifying the nonwhite vote.
Questioning the citizenship of children born in the United States knowing their illegal immigrant parents cannot come to their aid will disenfranchise the whole family. These native born people become domestic aliens whose votes are no longer counted for if they protest they will expose their parents’ illegality.
Mitt Romney’s writing off 47 percent of the so-called unacceptable minority vote suggests he is enchanted by the Tea Party (KKK) contention of wanting their nation back like it used to be. A white chap, with a Hispanic wife who is a mixture of Spanish, African American, and Native American heritage, put the Tea Party lily white context in order. He said he and his wife went to a Tea Party outing. The eerie eyes looking at them were very discomforting. To calm his wife’s nerves he told her to keep moving. Finally, one of the good old boys asked him why he did not marry a white woman.
I guess Romney fears that today’s rise in interracial marriage is mainstreaming the Wigger by creating a mongrel breed that will become tomorrow’s leadership. It is very difficult not to see Mitt Romney as nothing more than a de facto member of the Ku Klux Klan without regalia.
