As a 40 year plus Republican, I find myself looking through the 2012 Republican campaign casualties to find some people on which to reconstitute the GOP. I quivered as Texas Governor Rick Perry and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal state their unwillingness to embrace Obamacare. Clearly, these governors are kowtowing to the support of the Tea Party (KKK) Republican ultra-right-wing primary elections hardcore.
The Republican tragedy is each day the United States of America becomes less a white majority to a nonwhite majority. If the Republicans are enchanted with returning America to an antebellum mainstream where nonwhites were chattel, they will find another rude awakening in 2016 General Election from falling victim to their own propaganda on their controlling the voter turnout. The anti-voter turnout antics of Republican anti-nonwhite juggernauts have now morphed into the history books as Republicans attempting to stage a Third World Election in the United States where voter suppression was their mantra.
President Barack Obama decisive reelection victory shattered the GOP’s illusion of having unlimited money coming from fat cats to allow them to simply buy an election in the United States. Fat cat money got vilified, so it was a political curse. President Obama proved that one billion dollars from the hands of a few fat cats was significant less valuable than one billion dollars collected from thousands of small donations accompany by the vote of these donors.
However, there is Republican Party hope for 2016 if the GOP gives New Jersey Governor Chris Christie absolution for committing the mortal sin of openly working with President Barack Obama to get federal aid to the parts of his state devastated following hurricane Sandy. Christie demonstrated that he is a pragmatist and not a political dogmatist who has written off poor Americans.
Christie’s actions following hurricane Sandy has earned him valuable “Street Creds” in inner city America. His major political struggle for the next four years is to convince the GOP that the Tea Party Movement (KKK) has them on a futile quest to win on whites only votes. One need only look at the numbers of nonwhite ladies or white ladies with nonwhite spouses or partners pregnant to see tomorrows power of the nonwhite voter.
Thus I ask, “Is Chris Christie a GOP great white hope that nonwhites will embrace?”
