President Barack Obama’s reelection confirmed a paradigm shift in race relations whether a few de facto Ku Klux Klan members accept it. Tea Party (KKK) ultra conservatives created an anti-Obama toxic political atmosphere that helped to keep nonwhites doubting their mainstream equality.  The worse thing African American writers can do is to elevate today’s minor racial dysfunctions to when James Meredith needed guards to go to University of Mississippi.
